Any person can take a nice picture, but I like to create a space where you feel confidently yourself. I’m all about being intentional and bringing out the essence of you so that 1, 5, or 10 years down the line, you’ll look at your pictures again and feel those familiar feelings all over again. Life goes by too fast for all of us - photography is a way of slowing it down just a bit.
I’m the type of person who’d rather wear a jumpsuit than a fancy dress and rock a beanie instead of do my hair. I never get tired of dumplings or tacos, and I can challenge anyone to a Lord of the Rings trivia. Three years ago, I exchanged a nearly six-figure salary for freedom over my schedule so I can chase the things that intrigue me. Since then, I started a food rescue non-profit in Dallas, married my favorite human being, and helped build brands in multiple industries with my design studio, MAYKER.
I love to repurpose things, learn new subjects, lose myself in music, play sports with my husband, and spend time with my senior pup. I think wabi-sabi is one of the most beautiful philosophies and if you can vibe with that and everything you just read, we’ll get along ☻
